So yea, I hear all of this "well it is pretty good for 2 dollars" nonsense. I think it is nasty myself, and I am by no means a wine snob. I am however a person who can make up my own mind on taste, and I know this (C. Shaw) does not taste too good.
So, for all of you who want really good bottles of wine for cheap prices, here is the 2004 Wine enthusiast list of best buys.
All under $15, and some in the $6 dollar range. Bottles that you would not feel ashamed to serve your guests. But don't have to break the bank to do it......
